Photographing a spa, using only tungsten handheld light.
17 minute video
In this video, I walk you through the process of capturing images in a spa setting at the Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, Florida, where we shot over 50 images in four days. I detail my use of the Fuji GFX100 camera and various lighting techniques, including using modeling lights to enhance the water and curtain textures. You'll see how I adjust lighting to create depth and dimension in the images, and I also share my post-processing workflow in Photoshop.
