Foreword by the Author

My name is Amanar. From childhood, I have been drawn to the mysteries of the world, hidden in ancient chants and in the barely perceptible rustling of the night wind. I searched for answers in old books and manuscripts, conversed with experts in folk traditions, and immersed myself in rituals that, for most people in our time, have become nothing more than a somber legend of a distant past. This journey of searching and revelation led me to Voodoo—a magical system that has absorbed the wisdom of African ancestors, the energy of the New World, and the imprint of European occultism.

Voodoo is not just a colorful mosaic of rites and sacred dances, as it is often portrayed. It is a living tradition, where ancestral mysticism is intertwined with centuries of experience from priests and magicians. Within it, I have found something deeper than mere fragments of folklore or cult rituals. Here lies the opportunity for serious practitioners to connect with the power of the Loa—mighty spirits who can assist in healing, protection, and the pursuit of the mysteries of existence.

Over time, I discovered that the magical practices of Medieval Europe and the African diaspora complement each other in remarkable ways. Rites and invocations from ancient grimoires written in Latin blend with the rhythms of drums and the chants passed down from generation to generation by African sages. It is this mysterious harmony that I sought to embody in my book, where the knowledge of classical occult schools converges with the ancient African roots of Voodoo.

In the twenty-two chapters that follow, you will find not only historical references but also practical recommendations, rituals, and spells. All of them are arranged to help the seeker gain a deeper understanding of the nature of Voodoo and learn to use its power in everyday life. My aspiration is to pass on basic tools and keys for interacting with the spirit world, which you can develop and refine according to your own path.

Every step on the mage’s road can become a new revelation if one proceeds with awareness and reverence for the tradition. I hope that this book opens the door to the hidden knowledge that can transform not only the course of external events but also the inner world of the seeker.

With love for ancient wisdom and deep respect for those who dare to comprehend it,

Amanar
