Did you know that among the hunters and gatherers that inhabited Ukraine in the neolithic, Caucasus ancestry was already present? This might surprise some, as the Ukraine-Neolithic samples tend to cluster right intermediate between the Eastern and Western Hunter gatherers, being slightly closer to the eastern ones. Well, in this video I present to you a neolithic ukrainian, dating to 7 millenia before our age, who exhibits a high level of admixture from the caucasus. It is a woman carrying the mitochondrial lineage U4a1. I modeled her in qp.Admixture as 55 percent Eastern, 31 percent Western, and 14 percent Caucasian hunter gatherer. I also ran fst analysis on her, according to which she is closest to northeast europeans. The Fst values were heavily inflated because the sample on aadr dataset is not a true diploid.

I also ran her through my Trait Predictor tool for DNA analysis.
