
Off-Season Strength/Power Program
This 8-week training program is tailored for Gaelic footballers and hurlers who want to get stronger and fitter.
This program is crafted to prepare you for the upcoming season, ensuring you’ll be stronger, bigger and more robust from injury.
It aims to enhance your on-field performance by developing your movement skills, building functional strength, minimising injury risks, while also increasing lean muscle mass, work capacity, and overall robustness.
The program comprises three separate sessions every week: Lower Body, Full Body, and Upper Body.
Initially focusing on improving Movement Efficiency and Functional Strength, the program gradually ramps up intensity over an initial 4-week phase and seamlessly transitions into a subsequent 4-week phase emphasising strength and power development.
