INTIMACY IS NOT INHERITED

Intimacy with God is one of the most profound and life-transforming experiences a person can have. Yet, for many, this kind of closeness with the Creator seems elusive or out of reach. We often think that intimacy with God is something we can inherit through our family, culture, or church tradition. We may assume that knowing God in an intimate way is reserved for a select few who have special experiences or knowledge. However, the truth is that intimacy with God is not inherited—it is something we each must pursue, and it begins with a personal choice.
