Las, Las, Las, Las par Grand Délit - A Haunting Medieval French Lament from the 13th Century

“Las, Las, Las, Las Par Grand Délit” was written by the famous poet and monk Gautier De Coincy as a lament after his church’s relics were stolen. This lament is now a classic tune of the medieval psaltery repertoire and works perfectly on the hammered dulcimer as well.
