A filigree slipover with beautiful and intricate cables inspired by a character of Verdi’s opera “Il trovatore”.
This slipover is worked seamlessly top-down. The piece is started from the back collar, that morphs seamlessly in the fronts that are worked separately and flat until the underarms. The back is picked up from the shoulders and the collar and worked flat to the underarms, where the work is joined in the round.
The body is then worked in the round with two magnificent cables on the sides and one smaller in the center front.
When the body reaches the desired length, an attached border is worked to give the final touch to this little masterpiece.
