We learn about the lives and works of two painters: El Greco and Michael Sittow.

Six different authors also entertain us with their lives and works: Giovanni Boccaccio, Francisco de Quevedo, Ben Jonson, Sir Philip Sidney, Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, and Jehan Bodel.
