DACH GDPR + EU AI Act Art.50 Transparency Pack
Specialty pack — not a main offer. Your n8n instance runs on an EU server. Now it also answers customers with an LLM, writes e-mails, or generates images. From 2 August 2026, Article 50 of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) sets transparency obligations for AI systems that interact with people, generate synthetic content, recognise emotions, or produce deep fakes. Your GDPR duties still apply.
This pack puts both into one checklist for DACH teams that self-host n8n and AI workflows. Every obligation is tagged with its article number, and every date was checked against the Official Journal text on 29 Oct 2026.
Not legal advice / Keine Rechtsberatung. This is a working aid. It does not make you compliant, and it does not decide whether a specific system is in scope or whether you are a provider or deployer. Have your DPO (DSB) or lawyer review your conclusions.

- 2 Dec 2026: transition date only for the Art. 50(2) machine-readable marking obligation, and only for providers of generative AI systems (incl. general-purpose AI systems) placed on the market before 2 Aug 2026 (new Art. 111(4), inserted by Reg. (EU) 2026/1744). This is not a postponement of Art. 50 as a whole, which applies from 2 Aug 2026.
