 Old stories tell of princesses locked away in towers, women who were supposed to reclaim their thrones and end wars. But in this world, the tower is more than it appears, the princess has no intentions of bringing peace, and the witch struggles to undo his mistakes.

Val has been held prisoner in her tower since she massacred twenty soldiers with her powerful magic. Ellias, the witch who taught her to wield her abilities, is desperately searching for a way to undo his mistake.
