- Tinctures are concentrated herbal extracts made by soaking bark, berries, leaves (dried or fresh), and roots from one or more plants in alcohol. The alcohol pulls out the active ingredients within the plant parts, concentrating them as a liquid.
- Tincture drops can be placed directly under the tongue or placed in a liquid beverage to consume. The amount of drops use depends on the person, the relief seeking, and purpose for using. During the detoxification and recovery process - more drops are used.
