Eight calculators for pricing pest control service from your own year, not from anyone's price list. Sheet 1 turns the income you want, your costs, no-access visits, driving and unpaid admin into an hourly floor: $80.78 per paid hour on site in the worked example. Sheet 2 works out product cost per treatment from the prices and rates on the labels of the products you use; follow the label. Sheet 3 prices the initial service and quarterly and monthly plan visits from your minutes, sheet 4 prices by home square footage, and sheet 5 shows how much of your day is driving and what a tighter route frees up. Sheet 6 sets a plan client against one-off jobs, sheet 7 turns free callbacks into an allowance per visit, and sheet 8 checks whether a stop paid your floor. Every figure is an example for you to overwrite. These are estimates, not tax, legal or application advice. Every formula was recalculated and checked against an independent implementation before this shipped.

What is in it

8 calculators, one per sheet. Overwrite the blue cells with your own numbers and everything else follows. Nothing is locked, there are no macros, and it opens in Excel, Numbers, LibreOffice and Google Sheets.

  • Hourly floor rate: What must an hour at a stop earn to pay you and the business?
  • Product cost per treatment: What does the product in each treatment cost you, from your label numbers?
  • Initial vs recurring plans: What should the initial service and each plan visit cost?
  • Price by home square feet: What should a visit cost as the home gets bigger?
  • Route density per stop: How much of your day is driving, and what do tighter routes free up?
  • Plan value vs one-off: What is a plan client worth against a one-off job?
  • Callback allowance: What do free callbacks cost, and what should each visit carry for them?
  • Job profitability check: Did this stop pay your floor once its costs are out?

Every formula was checked

This pack contains 62 formulas. Before it was published, every one of them was recalculated by a spreadsheet engine and compared against an independent implementation of the same arithmetic written in Python. All 62 agreed to within a cent, and the workbook carries a Verification sheet saying so.

That is an unusual thing to be able to claim about a spreadsheet, and it is the main reason to buy this one rather than download a free template. A formula that looks right and is wrong is worse than no formula at all, because you will act on it.

What each calculator assumes

There is a sheet listing this, because a calculator that hides its assumptions is just a number generator:

  • Every working week looks the same. A no-access visit is time you are at work and unpaid. Driving and admin are counted as hours you enter, so the floor already pays for that driving. The tax set-aside is a share you enter, not a computed tax.
  • Prices, finished mix per container, application rates and coverage are copied from the labels of the products you use; follow the label. The sheet says nothing about which product or rate is right, about safety or about results. The initial service uses every line; a recurring visit uses the lines you switch on.
  • Price scales with the minutes you enter plus the product the visit uses. Every visit on a plan takes the same minutes. The plan visit counts are your own plan design, not a recommendation.
  • Time and exterior product grow in step with home size at the rates you enter. Bait and disposables are the same at every stop. Lot size, outbuildings and pest pressure are not counted; enter your own minutes if a property differs.
  • Every stop takes the same minutes and every gap between stops the same drive time. The tighter route is your own estimate of what grouping stops by area would give. Only whole stops count.
  • The plan client keeps the same visits and prices for the years entered. Years a client stays is your own estimate from your own records. Selling cost for new one-off jobs is not counted. Callbacks are on sheet 7.
  • Callbacks are free to the customer and each is its own trip. The callback share is your own records, not a claim about how well any treatment works. Callback driving is counted here, so leave it out of sheet 1.
  • Business costs and unpaid hours are already inside the floor from sheet 1, so this sheet subtracts only the costs that come with the stop, plus its share of callbacks.

What this is not

Not financial, tax or legal advice, and not a recommendation to buy, sell, borrow or sign anything. These are calculators: they show what a choice costs, not which choice is right for you. Where a published rate or threshold is used it is the one current when the pack was built; those change, the arithmetic does not.

Honest about the format

One .xlsx workbook, 8 calculator sheets plus Start Here, Assumptions and Verification. Not a PDF, not a physical product, not a Notion template. Available immediately after purchase; nothing ships.
