Colin Botts is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, and as a former Capitol Records-Nashville recording artist (Ryan Shupe & the RubberBand) shared the stage with many artists. He has performed on radio and television, and in hundreds of venues, both across the United States and internationally.

Colin has a bachelor's degree in guitar education and a master's degree in Irish traditional music performance and has had the privilege to teach and lecture in a variety of settings, from university classrooms to music camps and festivals. Additionally, Colin Botts is co-author of Mel Bay’s Killer Technique: Flatpicking Guitar.

In addition to his busy teaching schedule, Colin regularly travels and performs with a variety of artists and groups as well as working as a studio musician and multi- instrumentalist.
