The Nautical Hour ~ Children’s Study Guide
The Nautical Hour: A Bible Study for Children is a 10-lesson devotional journey designed to help children ages 6–13 develop a personal, daily relationship with Jesus Christ.
Inspired by the timeless teachings of Rev. Tony Bailey in The Nautical Hour, this study uses the exciting world of sailing to illustrate how God lovingly guides His children through every season of life. Just as sailors once relied on the special time before sunrise to find their bearings and chart their course, young believers will discover the importance of beginning each day by meeting with Jesus—their Captain.
Each lesson combines engaging Bible teaching with practical life application, thought-provoking discussion questions, hands-on object lessons, memory verses, prayer, and a personal Captain’s Log to help students reflect on what God is teaching them.
Children will learn how to:
- Build a daily habit of prayer and Bible reading.
- Trust God’s guidance in every decision.
- Listen for God’s voice through Scripture and the Holy Spirit.
- Stand strong through life’s challenges.
- Grow in the Fruit of the Spirit.
- Show kindness, serve others, and shine as lights for Christ.
- Discover that every sunrise is a new opportunity to walk with Jesus.
Whether used for personal devotions, family Bible study, homeschool, Sunday school, or small groups, The Nautical Hour encourages children to grow in faith, deepen their understanding of God’s Word, and confidently follow Jesus on the greatest adventure of their lives.
Every morning is a new beginning. Every day is another opportunity to spend time with your Captain. Set your course, trust His direction, and discover the joy of walking with Jesus—one sunrise at a time.
