The Cornerstone Made Simple

"The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. This is the LORD's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes" (Psalm 118:22-23).

The Cornerstone Made Simple is a Bible-first walk through what Scripture says about Jesus Christ as the Cornerstone — from David's rejected stone (Psalm 118:22), to Isaiah's tried stone and sure foundation (Isaiah 28:16), to Jesus claiming the Psalm for Himself (Matthew 21:42), to the church fitly framed together on Christ the chief Cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20), to living stones built into a spiritual house (1 Peter 2:5), to the wise builder's house on the rock (Matthew 7:24-25), to the only name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Eleven devotional chapters, each with Scripture, reflection, application, and prayer. Explicitly Trinitarian: the Father who laid the Cornerstone, Jesus Christ — Son of God and Son of Man, Lord and Savior — who IS the Cornerstone, and the Holy Spirit who builds, aligns, and finishes the work in us. Every prayer is to the Father, through Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit. Freedom and change come by the Spirit's power alone — never by willpower, technique, or man's method.

Read one chapter a day. Check your corner. Then go build.
