Arrival of the Queen of Sheba is the fourth piece in www.masquerade-music.co.uk's exciting Classical Capers book for Bb Sax (also available in Eb sax, Bb clarinet and flute editions).
This (we feel, rather overplayed) classic has had a revamp, becoming a slow cool jazz ballad with a deliciously smoochy mood. The Lawry/Degg (most well known for their Christmas Jazz Volumes 1 and 2) writing duo bring another fun collection where the new arrangement is also infused with brand new original material, making for an exciting play!
It had to be done, and yes, we did it! Are you ready to play Mozart, Beethoven, Wagner, Handel, and Grieg as you’ve never played them before? This collection is aimed at intermediate players and in addition to the piano accompaniment part and solo instrumental part, you will find inspiring demonstration tracks (no nasty glockenspiel melody line here we might add!) with a real instrument demonstrating for you, and also minus one backing tracks.
