Swordfish II

As a fan of the classic anime series and subsequent movie Cowboy Bebop, it was my goal to make the iconic MONO(Machine Operation Navigation of Outer Space) Racer used by one of the story's main protagonists, Spike Spiegal. The Swordfish II is a futuristic spacecraft used to hunt down bounties and is well equipped to handle tough situations. 

The model I created is roughly proportionate to the fictional craft and features a removable driver's seat for easy access to the pilot, right after you open the hatch of the cockpit. The wings are able to fold upwards for easy storage, just like the real thing and also has retractable wheels, two under the wings and one below the cockpit. 

Save to say, most of the details were added in such as the long plasma cannon underneath the main body and side missiles as an option. The thrusters at the back are mostly rigid and because it had to be stable. 

I envisioned this to be a sort of play set for adults and although it is swoosh-able, it still needs to be handled with care.
