10 Easy Christmas Songs for Beginner Guitar (EBOOK)

Having taught guitar for many years, I have learned that Christmas songs are as much a universal language as music itself. We’ve likely all heard them several times, intimately know their melodies, and remember holidays past when these songs became the soundtrack of the season.

Over the years, I have often found myself quickly transcribing these tunes during lessons for students. Great for beginners, the melodies are easy to play in the open position, and the songs’ familiarity helps the students recognize when they’re playing them correctly.

After years of on-the-fly transcribing, I’ve decided to compile some in this book. While it does make things easy for me (hey, I can print these instead of writing them out every time!), it also makes it easy to share with you! If you have a budding guitarist in your family, regardless of age, learning the instrument yourself, or are teaching new students how to play, learning these easy tunes makes for excellent holiday repertoire, and their ease of play will certainly be encouraging to those starting on guitar!
