Tokyo Weave is a captivating blend of intricate stitches and vibrant colors, inspired by the dynamic and multifaceted spirit of Tokyo. This design intertwines cables, ribs, garter, and chevron patterns, creating a rich tapestry that reflects the harmony of tradition and modernity found in the heart of Japan’s bustling capital. The interplay of four carefully chosen colors adds depth and dimension, making Tokyo Weave not just a shawl, but a wearable work of art that tells a story of texture, movement, and the timeless allure of Tokyo.

Yarn

The Tokyo Weave shawl is designed to showcase the beauty of fingering weight yarns. While the sample was knit using a combination of Malabrigo Yarn Ultimate Sock and Malabrigo Mechita, utilizing leftover yarns from previous projects, you can substitute with any fingering weight yarn that meets the gauge. This pattern is highly adaptable, allowing you to experiment with any color combination and adjust the amount of yarn used by repeating or reducing sections as desired. Whether you use new skeins or leftover yarns, this pattern offers the flexibility to create a shawl that is truly unique and tailored to your preferences.
