AP Spanish Language Mock Project
Give your students a full practice run of the new AP Course Project before the official prompt is released in January! In this mock project, students research the role of maíz in family life, gastronomy, and culture in a Spanish-speaking region or community they choose, just as they will on the exam.
The project follows College Board’s project scaffolds and is built around the 3 P’s: productos, prácticas, and perspectivas. It isn’t tied to any unit, so you can start it at any point in Semester 1.
What’s included:
- Teacher pacing guide with a phase-by-phase plan, day estimates, and teaching tips
- Student project packet: the prompt, the 6 factors, and six varied sources (articles, an infographic, a mural, and audio)
- Resources/Guides: source graphic organizer, initial written reflection, research action plan with SMART goals, PPR template, and an anticipatory Q&A organizer (all documents follow the College Board format)
- Feedback forms for the reflection, the presentation, and the Q&A
- Rubrics for the Project Presentation and the Project Q&A
- Slide deck (28 slides with speaker notes) to guide students through every stage
- Project Q&A mock exam: a script with four questions that work for any region, plus teacher notes
- Recorded Q&A audio with timed 40-second pauses that simulate exam conditions
Single-teacher license. Updated for the 2026–27 College Board revisions (first exam May 2027).
