Track your net worth once a month and see exactly where you stand on the road to financial independence: your FIRE number, how far along you are, how many years to go and the age you could reach FI. Built for anyone chasing FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) or setting 2027 money goals.

What's inside (7 tabs):

- Dashboard: net worth, change this month and year to date, total assets and liabilities, FI assets, FIRE number, a FIRE progress bar, years to FI, FI age, Coast FI age and the monthly amount needed to hit your target age. Lean / regular / Fat / Coast FI table, asset allocation pie chart, net worth by month chart and a projection chart.

- Settings: currency symbol, birth year (or current age), target FI / retirement age, annual spending, safe withdrawal rate (4% if left blank), expected real return, inflation, monthly investing amount with a yearly increase, optional Lean and Fat FIRE spending.

- Accounts: up to 30 accounts with a type dropdown – cash, brokerage, retirement (401k / IRA / ISA / pension), real estate, crypto, vehicle, other – and debts: mortgage, student loan, credit card, auto loan, other. Choose which accounts count toward FIRE (by default your home, car, mortgage and car loan don't).

- Monthly Snapshot: 36 months of balances, one column per month. Total assets, total liabilities, net worth, month-over-month change ($ and %) and FI assets are worked out for you.

- FIRE Calculator: FIRE number (spending ÷ withdrawal rate), Lean and Fat FIRE numbers, Coast FI number, progress for each, years to FI, FI age and year, Coast FI age, monthly amount needed to reach FIRE by your target age, safe withdrawal from today's FI assets, and how long the money lasts.

- Projection: 60 years, year by year, in today's money. "Keep investing" vs. "Plan" (invest until your target age, then withdraw your annual spending), with milestones marked.

This is a tracking and estimating tool, not financial, investment or tax advice. Projections use the fixed return you enter – real markets go up and down, and taxes and fees are not included. The 4% rule is a rule of thumb, not a guarantee.

Built for Excel 2016+ (Windows and Mac), Excel mobile, WPS and LibreOffice. No macros. Every formula was recalculated and checked in LibreOffice, with the sample data and with all inputs cleared. Google Sheets: the file only uses standard functions that Google Sheets also supports, so it should work there, but it has not been tested in Google Sheets itself; charts and colors may look slightly different.
