Do You Know Your Dog? The Chihuahua

Calling all Chihuahua lovers! 🐾💛

Smooth or long coat? Do they really need walks? And are "teacup" Chihuahuas actually a thing?

At Houlton Hounds we're a team of 8 dog walkers near Rugby, looking after more than 200 clients, so we meet a lot of dogs. We've put everything we've learned on our walks into one fun, friendly guide for UK owners and would-be owners.

Inside you'll find:

• Where these tiny dogs with big personalities come from
• Smooth or long coat, and what to expect from each
• Walks, kind training tips, and meeting the big dogs safely
• Grooming, teeth and the health checks that matter
• Fun facts, photos of real dogs from our pack, and questions to ask a breeder

We're dog walkers, not vets, so we've checked the facts against trusted sources such as the Royal Kennel Club, PDSA, Dogs Trust and the RSPCA. It's general guidance, and your vet is always the best person to ask about your own dog.

For every guide sold, we donate 50p to UK dog rescue charities ❤️

We hope it makes you smile, and helps you get to know your dog even better!
