This bee hive block can be used alone in a pillow, mini quilt, tote bag, or mug rug, or used in a wall hanging, table runner, or quilt with or without alternate blocks.
The block combines piecing and fusible applique skills, but is appropriate for a confident beginner. If you don't want to tackle applique, you can use purchased buttons for the honeybees, or skip them altogether. You'll find tutorials on my blog for fusible applique and the embroidery stitches.
Multiple sizes are included in the pattern - 6”, 9”, and 12”.
