Fragments is a digital chapbook of short prose pieces by Kathleen Donchak. Written from gardens, porches, moving vehicles, winter trails, and morning windows, these pieces trace a life oriented by the natural world — its sounds, its silences, its capacity to return us to ourselves.

This is not nature writing as subject. It is nature as the condition under which writing becomes possible.
