A sumptuous lace and beaded shawl shaped using Elizabeth Zimmermans’s Pi formula. The 2/3 circular shape helps the shawl to sit neatly around the shoulders. The lace pattern is highlighted with beads to catch the light.
Albertine was originally published in The Knitter Magazine issue 78 and knitted in Fyberspates Gleem Lace.
Materials:
Schoppel Lace Flower (2ply; 100% wool; 1200m/1312yds per 150g) x1 ball. Shown in shade: 2350 Early Flowering
3.5mm (UK 9-10/US 4) circular needle, 80cm (32in) length
Debbie Abrahams Seed Beads size 8, colour 224 Velvet x 1890 beads (4 bags)
0.50mm (US 15) crochet hook
