Mosaic Continuum . . .
This triptych explores the intersection of mid-century geometric abstraction and organic texture.
Form & Structure: Each panel features identical modular, mid-century modern arch and teardrop shapes arranged in a rhythmic, pillared layout. The clean, modern outlines create structure, grounding the fluid textures within.
Texture: The surfaces are filled with a delicate mosaic or stained-glass cell texture, giving the flat geometric shapes depth, tactility, and light reflection—reminiscent of tiled stonework or natural mineral patterns.
Color Narrative: The collection tells a story through gradient color progression across the three panels:
Left Panel (Earth/Fire): Dominated by rich terracotta, copper, and warm ochre tones, evoking warmth, soil, and baked clay.
Middle Panel (Convergence): A balance of cool and warm, where peach and beige hues merge into soft sky blues, representing balance and transition.
Right Panel (Water/Sky): Drenched in crisp cerulean, turquoise, and deep ocean blues, bringing cool serenity and fluidity.
