Normandy '44

The Battle Of Normandy. What could be considered the largest single invasion of enemy territory since Operation Barbarossa, this map captures the sheer horror and scale of the industrial conflict of the Second World War. This map is centred at the Battle of Carentan which is more than likely the most famous battle of the Liberation of France apart from D-Day itself. Throughout this 8kx7k map, you can look through the eyes of the everyman soldier and experience WW2 true-to-life. For starters, the stunning visuals of this map would make ROBLOX themselves proud with beautifully curated terrain that holds the image of a picturesque French countryside - terrain colours, lighting and atmosphere all play a role in achieving this vision. Throughout the map, forests that look like they came straight out of a davinci painting become apparent, with usage of PBR, the aforementioned terrain colouring, and also lighting - high quality usage of atmosphere - and some destroyed trees to bring you back down to earth in the dire consequences these soldiers faced. Around the map, there are villages and outposts which use a perfect amount of texturing to make it look like it came out of Battlefield V, whilst the perfect amount of darker colour ranging to make it look like a Hell Let Loose map. Multiple of the towns have full interiors, and roadblocks, Czech Hedgehogs, shell craters, artillery guns, etc create a militaristic feel. German Military outposts with Flak guns around the map contribute to the feel of a occupied nation gasping for freedom, and the Allied outposts with their large amounts of interiors, pallets, etc show that the allies at this point were winning logistically. There are multiple bunkers around the map with radio sets, authentic lighting sets, etc to create a sense of groundedness - the custom gear included in the map, pbr haybales, country fences, farmhouses, et cetera all create the best Normandy map there is for sale.
