Island Hopping | NOW! Bali May - June 2026

There is a certain quality to ‘island living’ that captures the imagination: that castaway charm defined by coconut groves and pristine beachfronts, a horizon of ocean, simple pleasures, and the most enticing aspect of all, that feeling of being away from it all. It makes sense why we often refer to them as island ‘escapes.’ 

Whilst mainland Bali has much to offer, it has certainly outgrown its original rustic island allure, and so to chase that very feeling we must venture further east, to destinations that continue to carry that evocative sense of escape. 

In this edition of NOW! Bali, we take you Island Hopping, starting with Bali’s own Nusa Islands, the most accessible getaways across the straits; then across the Wallace Line to the rugged lands of Lombok; and to Flores, offering an archipelago to explore in itself.
