Mountain Dweller of Lithuania

The eldest of five children living in the small village of Preila, Lithuania located in the

renowned Curonian Spit, Vidas Banis is a displaced worker trying to get his water

filtration invention financed to save his family from poverty. His father came back from

war with one leg and was severely traumatized and cannot work. As the eldest son who

lost his job in a factory, he hunts and does odd jobs to care for his family. An

inspirational and painfully raw story of how one young man struggled through terrible

circumstances to give his entire family a new life.
