Finding Your Neurodivergent Community Online: A round up of neuroaffirming community spaces
As a neurodivergent counsellor and therapist, I understand some of the unique challenges we can face when it comes to finding community and connecting with others.
Who is this ebook for? 🙋
Many areas have local groups for neurodivergent people to meet one another - but these aren’t available or accessible to everyone. Online neurodivergent communities are rapidly springing up to fill the gap and help people to connect, learn and support one another.
Each has a different vibe and approach. Some cater to particular identities or situations. Some are about learning, unlearning and discussion. Some have optional in-person elements too - but that isn’t the focus here.
I asked people to get in touch if they would like their online community to be featured in a round up. Thank you to all the community owners who responded and have submitted the information listed in this guide. I hope this helps people to find a space that works for them.
What does it cover? 📖
This guide outlines 21 neuroaffirming online communities, covering everything from those who want to learn about neurodivergent experiences, to neurodivergent business owners; from children to late identified adults.
How will it help me? 🦸
Easily compare a range of options to see which may best suit you as you search for an online community where you can connect with others and be yourself.
