WPQR Template

A complete WPQR template covering all mechanical test results required to qualify a welding procedure under AS/NZS 1554.1 and ISO 15614-1.

Includes tensile testing (ISO 4136), bend testing (ISO 5173), macro examination (ISO 17639), Charpy impact testing (ISO 9016) with multi-location specimen rows covering weld centreline, fusion line, and heat affected zone, and hardness testing (ISO 9015-1) — one of the most commonly omitted sections in generic templates. A fillet weld test section is also included for procedures covering fillet welds.

Built by an IIW CIWT who has produced and approved WPQRs across aerospace, rolling stock, and structural fabrication environments.
