A good collection to chew over.
I was particularly struck by these lines from "In Shadow":
"Let your guard down
and they swallow you whole,
shit you deeper into shadow."
Visceral, but truthful.
"Lost Dad" strikes one also as particularly unnerving, but at least it offers a bit of hope to the characters and the reader.
