Kyloe - Crochet cable pullover/jumper
Almost nothing goes better with a good book and a cup of tea than a cozy sweater. Imagine yourself snuggled into the most welcoming and plumpest of armchairs, and nearby a fire is crackling heartily in a wood stove. The heat of the fire and the warmth of your woollen jumper cocoon you from the brisk air outside as the sunlight begins to fade.
Kyloe is just the sweater for the job, and it will keep you warm and looking stylish all at the same time. The wide sleeves and positive ease make for a comfortable fit. The faux cables made with i-cord run in braids over the front of the jumper and are a pleasantly tactile feature. They give a contemporary twist to the classic cable.
The featured yarn is The Fibre Co. Cumbria in the colorway Catbells, and it is a luscious blend of Merino, Masham and mohair in a rich cinnamon brown. The Masham and mohair give the finished fabric a lovely drape, and the color resembles autumnal foliage – or perhaps the shaggy rust-red coat of a Highland cow!
