A chance encounter with a gorgeous veterinarian, leaves a Navy MP thinking maybe there is room in his life... and heart, for someone besides his K-9 partner.

When someone starts stalking Risa, she finds shelter in Jax's strong embrace. He's determined to protect her at all costs. But the closer they get she knows it's only a matter of time before his ambition leads him far away from her.
