🖨️ HOW TO PRINT

🏪 OPTION 1 — LOCAL OR ONLINE PRINT SHOP

For professional-looking results, you can take your PDF to a local print shop or upload it to an online printing service.

When ordering, request:

✔️ 5 × 7 inch double-sided printing

✔️ 100–110 lb cardstock

✔️ Matte or glossy finish, depending on your preference

💡 Print shops may have their own requirements for uploading or formatting files, so always review their instructions before ordering.

🏠 OPTION 2 — PRINT AT HOME

If your printer supports 5 × 7 inch cardstock:

1. Open the PDF

Open your downloaded file using your preferred PDF reader.

2. Select Your Paper Size

Choose 5 × 7 inches as the paper size.

3. Set the Scale

Choose Actual Size or 100%.

🚫 Avoid Fit to Page or other scaling options that may change the card dimensions.

4. Select Print Quality

Choose High Quality, Best, or Photo Printing, depending on your printer.

5. Print Double-Sided

If your printer supports automatic duplex printing:

✔️ Select Print on Both Sides

✔️ Choose the appropriate flip setting for your printer

If printing manually:

✔️ Print the front first

✔️ Reinsert the cardstock according to your printer's feeding direction

✔️ Print the back

💡 IMPORTANT: Printers feed paper differently. Before printing your entire set, do a test print on plain paper to determine exactly how your printer handles double-sided printing.

💡 PRINTING TIPS

📄 Use Quality Cardstock

For sturdy greeting cards, try cardstock appropriate for your printer, such as 80–110 lb cardstock.

🎨 Use the Best Print Setting Available

Higher-quality settings can help produce richer colors and sharper details.

✉️ Envelope Size

A standard A7 envelope is commonly used for 5 × 7 inch cards.

🖨️ Check Your Printer's Cardstock Compatibility

Not every home printer can feed heavier cardstock, so check your printer manufacturer's specifications before purchasing paper.

🌈 Colors May Vary

Printed colors can vary slightly depending on your monitor, printer, ink, and paper.
