GSIQ: MENA's Next Generation of Sports Fans white paper
Young people in MENA are more likely than those in any other market to have played organised sport - and are more likely to say that they are 'passionate' fans. So are rightsholders and sponsors pushing at an open door? Find out in our new white paper.
We asked 5,000 young people across 11 markets one big question: what will it take to make you a sports fan?
Today we're sharing our findings with you from eight markets – in the form of easy-to-read white papers. Analysis from the Australia, Canada, China, Germany, India, MENA, the UK and the USA is now available. A bundle with all 8 white papers is also available to download.

WHY READ?
The number one reason young people become fans isn’t what most rights-holders or sponsors spend their money on. It’s something else altogether.
- Some sports are much better at converting their participants to fans. We reveal which ones perform the best.
- 70% call themselves fans. Only 8% are superfans. The white paper shows you where that gap closes.
- From cost to community, learn what young people say will make them bigger fans of a sport.
