Greatest Common Factor Around the Clock Partner Scavenger Hunt Activity | GCF Practice
Give students a partner-based way to practice finding greatest common factors with this Greatest Common Factor Around the Clock Partner Scavenger Hunt Activity. Students work through GCF problems while using the clock format to check answers and move through the activity.
Each partner has their own clock with 12 unique problems. The problems are different for each partner, but the answers and clock placement are the same. This gives students a way to work independently, compare answers, and talk through errors if their results do not match.
Students begin with the problem marked by a star and glue it to the 12 o’clock spot. After solving, they find the matching answer at the top of another problem card and glue that card to the 1 o’clock spot. Students continue solving and matching until they move around the clock and return back to the 12 o’clock spot.
