Solektrik-9 v1.2 - A Nerf-Compatible Half-Dart Blaster - TO ORDER
The SOLEKTRIK-9 is a blaster in a cyber-future where german trains run on time, no matter what. It was at first an unofficial development in 2396, by an engineering team finding itself in need of a short range sweeper for tight spaces, inbetween piping, and underneath engine blocks. The purpose was to clear out the smaller (colloquially and incorrectly named) "frost bugs".
The blocky and rugged mechanisms were easy to maintain and procure and the design spread quickly to other train engineers. The blaster uses commonly available 38mm caseless halfdarts. It was officially adopted and produced by the Megawerke in early 2398. Various improvements were made, including the standard light-up heat-piping and voltage meter.

Mechanically speaking, this is a mag-in-grip blaster that takes standard straight talon mags of any length. It fires darts with a fullsize 35mm solenoid that sports a self-regulating full-auto mechanism. There are no advanced electronics in here.
The darts are fed into a pair of micro flywheels (Cabanossi from Fetteworst. The same wheels the HOLLÄNDER uses.) Simple, no complications (I say, being a consumate liar). It fires about 22 meter in a straight line, and 26 meter at an angle. By default the SOLEKTRIK-9 comes with OoD Lokis for flywheel motors. They'll give you roughly 110 FPS.
The blaster, as usual, is run with a 3S LiPo. The battery is not included. You'll need to have your own 3S LiPo that can take at least 45A stall current. The compartment for that is above the barrel on the front, for overall balance. It locked with a pair of magnets, so you can just pull it off.
The blaster also has a built-in voltmeter up top, that is wired directly into the circuit. It shows you your current battery total voltage, but does not warn you when it gets too low. So keep an eye on it. The main power switch is on the back of the blaster, below the solenoid.
Additionally it features two sling points, front and back. The blaster also has a separate rev-trigger that is attached to the front of the firing trigger, for that controllable dual-stage trigger feeling. It's basically the default for my flywheelers.
On the back you have an N-strike compatible stock point.

The blaster is made TO ORDER, which means that I will make it in the colors of your chosing, specifically for you. This typically takes roughly 2 weeks, give or take. I will keep you updated during the entire process.
COLORS:
In the example pictures the PRIMARY COLOR is white, the SECONDARY COLOR is orange. The TRANSPARENT COLOR is blue. (but Etsy won't let me ask you about that, because I only get to have two fields for selections. I will ask you about the extra color after your purchase, as usual.) The grip defaults to black.
