The small but exiting bit of a longer novel.

Chris Petterson writets evocotive novels about Greenland, its scenery, and people. The wilds of Greenland are still wild and the people who live there know how to survive. Some drift into numbness but others use their skills to manage the others.

This is an exerpt of the novel The Ice star and serves as a prologue or hook by the author. We are introduced to Constable Fenna Brongaard a gritty and adventurous character who is assualting a hut. She takes no prisoners, literally, but the encounter indicates that the story is more complex as she meets the protagonist.

Now I will have to read the book.
