A reading show that ends with four children discovering they all chose the same book.

What they see

Five Dr Seuss books, shown one at a time, with the key points of each and what it teaches us.

Four helpers come up. A packet is chosen. A word is spelled out, and the helper can change packets at any time while there are letters left. The next helper does the same. And the next.

The last two match.

Then all of them match.

Why it is the one to carry for schools and libraries

It is built for a reading show. The books are the point, not the prop. Every one of the five comes with a short synopsis of what it teaches us, so the whole routine is a reading lesson that happens to have four children on stage and an impossible ending.

And it packs flat, plays big and is easy to perform, which all matter when you are carrying a show into a gym.
