End Of Year Graffiti Memories Art Project Elementary Graffiti Memory Art Lesson
This best-selling Graffiti Memories Art Lesson is an end of year art project where students reflect on their school year while exploring bold drawing and design. Students create a vibrant artwork centered on the word "MEMORIES", surrounded by symbols, patterns and drawings of their favorite moments from the year.
Because each student illustrates their own memories, every finished piece is unique and personal. It suits upper elementary art classes, homeschool art and substitute plans, and makes a strong final portfolio piece or hallway display.

HOW TO USE IT
Students begin by sketching large graffiti-style lettering across the center of the page, building thick overlapping letters and adding arrows, stars, hearts and playful symbols. Next they divide the background into sections, filling some with pattern and zen doodle line work and others with drawings of their favorite memories.
They finish with wax crayons, markers and a simple water painting technique that lets the colors blend and bleed for a vibrant mixed media effect. Project the step-by-step pages for students to follow, demonstrate the lesson yourself, or let students work independently from the visual guides.
WHAT STUDENTS LEARN
Students explore graffiti-style lettering and bold typography, practice the Element of Art: Line through patterns and symbols, experiment with pattern design and zen doodle techniques, reflect on meaningful moments from the year, and combine drawing, coloring and water blending.
