Look Again! - Read, Print & Color

A giant shadow, a concentrating face and a block seen from two sides help Maya and Leo discover that a first look does not tell the whole story. Explore curiosity, listening and welcome.

Read the colorful stories together on a screen, then print just the activities and coloring pictures your child wants to explore. Younger children can enjoy shared reading and help with directions.

Your download includes three PDFs:

- A complete 40-page color storybook with 8 illustrated stories.

- A 19-page Print & Play file: page finder, 8 story-linked activities, 8 matching coloring pictures, a bonus activity with answers, and the parent and teacher guide. No blank pages in this file; print single-sided to leave coloring-page backs empty.

- A two-page printing guide with page-selection and home-printer instructions.

Includes a guide for parents and teachers.

The guide offers discussion questions, practical suggestions for listening and checking assumptions, and a family shadow experiment. It links to resources from the AAP and NAEYC.
