My Body Called a Meeting

Your back booked the room.

Your knees brought concerns.

Apparently, attendance is mandatory.

My Body Called a Meeting turns the familiar negotiations of getting older into a funny, unexpectedly tender conversation with yourself.

The back remembers that refrigerator you moved at twenty-six. The stomach would like to discuss six late-night tacos. Your eyes have a suggestion about where to put your phone.

“In my defense—”

“Don’t.”

Then the heart takes its turn. After carrying every goodbye, every hello, and more love than you knew what to do with, it has one small request:

Dance more.

What follows is a kitchen-floor experiment, a few objections from management, and a reminder that being here is still something worth enjoying.

A little more moving.

A little more laughter.

A little room for now.

For anyone whose knees announce their arrival—and whose heart still has plans.

“These bones ain’t asking forever.

They’re asking me for now.”
