Cell Quest: Bio Defender

Cell Quest: Bio-Defense throws students inside a living cell and turns cell biology into a fast paced defense mission. Players must protect the nucleus from invading viruses while gathering glucose, converting it into ATP at the mitochondria, collecting mRNA, and delivering it to the ribosome to power the cell’s defenses. As the game progresses, students also use the Golgi apparatus and lysosomes to destroy dangerous invaders, so the science concepts are built directly into the gameplay.

This is not just a trivia game with a science theme pasted on top. Students actually interact with core cell functions as they play, helping them understand how organelles work together to keep a cell alive.
