Fun to read

This was a very enjoyable read, with believable characters, if some were perhaps not drawn out in depth, but those are usually the bad guys, so why would I want to them them really well, right?
Some things stretch the willingness to suspend disbelief a bit; I guess drinking a steaming cup of coffee while rocking in a chair could work, but when I drop an axe it usually lies pretty flat, so falling on it it might result in a cut, but all the way through skin, liver, intestine, even way back to the kidney? Must have been a wicked sharp, huge axe with a determination to stay upright on its own. ;)
At first, I did not like the main character. Fainting? Seriously? Her first friend on the other hand was just obnoxious. But they all grew on me pretty quickly, and the small town feeling is extremely charming and the story itself drew me in, for all three "cases". I wanted to keep reading in order to know how things would be sorted out.

I recommend this book to everyone who can overlook some unlikely details and just enjoy the flow of the story. For me, it was worth it!
