Changing Families, Yes, No, Maybe So
Changing Families Yes, No, Maybe So is an assessment resource to learn the child's point of view about their parent's separation or divorce. They read the statements and place them on the yes, no, or maybe so placemats. They can share their thoughts and feelings without having to talk. The counselor or therapist can then create goals for intervention, based on their responses. For example if a child blames themselves for the separation, the therapist can assist them to understand the break-up is not their fault.
