TUNING AND RANGE

Drop C: guitar down to C2 (MIDI 36), bass down to C1 (MIDI 24).

Lead range note: two lead notes are MIDI 87 (D#6/Eb6), one semitone above the top fret of a standard six-string, 24-fret Drop C guitar (MIDI 86). One is in Ember Hymn (held at the start of bar 3), the other in Cold Cathedral (beat 4 of bar 5), in both the lead file and the FULL file. We kept them on purpose. As MIDI they play in any instrument that reaches MIDI 87; on a real guitar use an extended-range instrument or play those two notes an octave lower.

FORMAT

Standard MIDI files, format 1, 480 PPQ. Time signature 4/4. GM drums on channel 10; guitar on channel 1, bass on 2, lead on 3. Not tested with specific DAWs or operating systems.

LICENCE
