5 Owl Cross Stitch Patterns

A collection of five beautiful cross stitch owls to stitch.

This ebook contains full instructions on how to cross stitch and backstitch, suggestions for threads including DMC and Anchor and full colour patterns for four British owls: barn owl, little owl, short-eared owl, long-eared owl and tawny owl.

The Barn Owl pattern is 58 x 56 stitches. When worked on 14 count aida, the finished size is 5” x 5”, 13cm x 13cm. 

The Little Owl pattern is 60 x 60 stitches. When worked on 14 count aida, the finished size is 5” x 5”, 13cm x 13cm. 

The Short-Eared Owl pattern is 60 x 60 stitches. When worked on 14 count aida, the finished size is 6” x 6”, 15cm x 15cm.

The Long-Eared Owl pattern is 52 x 59 stitches. When worked on 14 count aida, the finished size is 4 ½ ” x 5 ½ ”, 11.5cm x 14cm. 

The Tawny Owl pattern is 60 x 60 stitches. When worked on 14 count aida, the finished size is 5 ½” x 65 ½”, 14cm x 14cm. 

They are perfect for framing, appliqué or small decorative pillows, perhaps lavender scented.

These are counted cross stitch patterns which require the ability to follow a chart. Some experience of cross stitch will be helpful, but full instructions are included so ambitious beginners are welcome!
