Gumroad Ping Relay: Sale Alerts to Discord, Slack & Telegram

Get a 💸 on your phone for every Gumroad sale, and a ↩️ for every refund, in Discord, Slack or Telegram. A clean CSV ledger of gross and estimated net revenue builds up as you go.

Pointing Gumroad's Ping straight at a Discord or Slack webhook doesn't work: the Ping is form-encoded and those services expect JSON. The Ping also isn't signed, so anyone with the URL can fake a sale.

This relay:

- Translates Gumroad pings into Discord, Slack and Telegram messages

- Re-fetches every sale from the Gumroad API, so the alerts can't be forged

- Sends separate alerts for sales, refunds, chargebacks, disputes and cancellations

- Shows the net after Gumroad fees (the fee the API reports, or an estimate of 10% + $0.50 plus 2.9% + $0.30 card processing on direct sales, 30% on Discover) and the referrer, e.g. "via dev.to"

- Dedupes resent pings, and masks buyer emails by default

- Writes a CSV ledger that's safe to open in Excel or Sheets, with refunds as negative rows

- Has zero dependencies (Node 18+), a 10-minute setup and 13 automated tests
