For those upcoming events, here are 25, no, to low-cost Digital Resources to aid you in promoting your future event. 

Visit their websites, and submit your event information and marketing materials through the resource to your desired target audience(s). To use this list strategically and successfully, start with all the free resources.

As your event nears and your budget allows, choose a few low-cost paid resources ($25 to $100) to promote your event. Be sure to track which Resources work most for you and offer you greater impact. Closer to your event date, if you are not yet to full capacity, select one or two more higher cost resources to expand your reach.
